FDC Grant Application Support

FDC

Help us help you! Forked Deer Connect is in the process of applying for grant funding through the TN Department of Economic and Community Development. If awarded the grant, the funding will be used toward expediting the construction of our fiber system and will bring broadband services to our area faster. We understand the need for rural broadband, and are working toward providing all FDEC members with this resource.

Whether you are a resident or business owner, there are a few different ways you can help!

        1. Take our survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/7X2YZ8J

        2. Write a brief letter showing your support of Forked Deer Connect! Explain how access to broadband services will benefit your organization, community, lifestyle, etc. Feel free to include specific examples of how this resource will impact your life. Letters may be submitted by mail or email.

We will also email you a copy of the petition to pass around to neighbors and other FDEC members. Please submit your completed petition to the Main Office by Friday, October 11, 2019.

        4. Encourage your family, friends and neighbors to show their support of Forked Deer Connect!

We appreciate your support of the Forked Deer Connect fiber project! Any and all participation will be a huge help with our grant application. We are working hard to bring reliable broadband services to all members of Forked Deer Electric Cooperative in an efficient manner.
