Construction Update

Our crews continue to work hard on building our fiber network. Here is a brief update on Forked Deer Connect's progress:

Fiber has been spliced and tested into our Millcreek Substation hut.

Each enclosure is securely mounted on a pole.

Around 282,000 ft of fiber has been pulled along our electrical network.

Fiber from the enclosure is pulled to the NID (network interface device), which will be mounted on the outside of each home.

Fiber is being spliced into our enclosures.

We are excited to bring high-speed internet to our rural communities. Continue checking our website and Facebook for continued updates, progress and announcements.

Preregistration is open to all Forked Deer Electric Cooperative members! For more information, call 800-584-9222.
